This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Familia Mechanical’s brand session in Norman, OK. As an Oklahoma brand photographer, I’m always drawn to businesses with heart, and this HVAC company is powered by exactly that. Woman-owned, Hispanic-owned, and veteran-owned, Familia Mechanical is redefining what it looks like to provide HVAC services in Central Oklahoma with honesty, warmth, and integrity.

As part of their recent brand refresh, Familia Mechanical partnered with OKC branding agency Siren Media to bring more warmth and clarity to their visual identity. Their team requested a warm, rich photo edit to reflect the inviting and trustworthy feel of their brand—and I was all in. I regularly collaborate with brand and design agencies to ensure every session supports the overall creative direction. From planning the shot list to custom editing styles, every brand session I photograph is tailored to bring your unique vision to life. No cookie-cutter images here, just intentional, story-driven photos that feel so you.

From the start, Familia Mechanical stood out as more than just a service provider, they’re a business rooted in family, built around the dinner table, and driven by a desire to make people feel at home. Their co-founder, Johnny Prieto, didn’t just want to fix heating and cooling systems, he set out to change the way people feel about HVAC companies. That mission shines through in every part of their brand: clear communication, transparency at every step, and treating every customer like familia.

During the session, we highlighted the heart of their business: community, service, and trust. Whether they’re installing a new AC unit or walking a client through options in both English and Spanish, their commitment to doing the right thing always comes first. It was important that their photos reflect that approachable, trustworthy personality, showing not just what they do, but who they are.
