Picture Day at Evergreen Acton Academy

How It Works

School photos with Paige Rains Photography are different than the traditional school portraits we’re all used to. I spend a few minutes photographing each child. In that time, we’ll laugh, have fun, and I’ll capture genuine expressions.

Your Next Steps

  1. IMPORTANT - SIBLING PHOTO INFO: We’ll do sibling photos first, starting promptly at 8:30am. Let me know on the sign up form below if you would like a sibling photo. You only need to fill out one form form per family (not one per child).

  2. Please make sure your child’s face is clean the morning of picture day. Check around eyes, nose, and mouth for kid crusties :)

  3. Read over the What To Wear info below.

  4. Prints start at $10. Print packages and digital images start at $25. Print prices do not include sales tax or shipping. You’ll receive the full price list once your form is submitted.

  5. Within 2 weeks after photo day, you’ll receive a link to your gallery containing 5-7 of the best images of your child from photo day in both color and black and white.

  6. Galleries remain open for 2 weeks for ordering prints and digitals. Prints are shipped directly to your home within a few days and digitals are available for download immediately after purchase. After 2 weeks, the gallery will expire and you’ll no longer have access to the photos.

  7. Class photos are included for free download in a separate gallery folder.

What To Wear

  • Earthy, muted, and natural colors photograph beautifully and compliment skin tones.

  • Textures such as linen, knits, waffle, and ruffles add dimension.

  • Individual photos will be from the waist up so the top is the most important part of the outfit.

  • AVOID neon or ultra bright colors, pinstripes or small checkered prints, and graphic tees.

  • Dark colors show lint and pet hair so keep that in mind.

  • IF YOUR CHILD WEARS GLASSES, PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEAN THE MORNING OF PICTURE DAY TO REDUCE GLARE.
